Roberto was born in 1974 in Empoli, a small town near Florence Italy.

He started to work at 14 as apprentice to a leather goods manufacturer and his love for the craft directed his future.

After attending design school he established his own business and in 1999 “Roberto Mantellassi” was born.

Robertos products are made from the finest leathers and skins  and each piece is handcrafted; an art almost lost in todays world of mass production.  

He believes the touch of a nice Italian leather bracelet or belt can make any woman feel beautiful and his designs are marked with and edge to his classic elegance.

His Trademark new collection uses the finest of exotic skins combined with his leathers for a fresh new look uniquely trendy but sophisticated enough for the keenest eye.  

Robertos bracelets, belts and accessories are found in upscale boutiques throughout Europe and Asia.

In 2009 , he introduces his collection in North America  in a partnership with 5.5,  an American Company headed by two women who appreciate the  quality, uniqueness, and style  of the Mantellassi brand.
